VIINI is an app concept created with a goal of helping wine lovers
everywhere experience the luxury
of having wine delivered to their home. To make this incredibly convenient, I implemented features
that include a social aspect to the experience. You rate your favorite wines, and recommend which
is great or not-so-great. Along with the fi ne wines, there is also a selection of chocolate that would
be paired with the wine. The defined problem, is while we have a lot of enjoyment going out on the
town for some good wine, sometimes we just want to stay home and enjoy a glass in the comfort of
our home. The solution for this< would be a great experience to have an app for wine delivery with
many selections and if one appreciates decadent pairings, the option for chocolate is also available.
A social aspect would be integrated in the experience, with wine ratings, friending those in your
social cicle or in your local area
An app that I reserched and analyzed for competitive analysis is
called Vivino. Created in Copenhagen,
it currently has 11 million users. - very impressive for an app that is essentially Yelp for wine. At that point,
I asked myself, “How much attention and how many new users could a wine app get if a wine delivery service
was implemented?” Here, are the numbers that Vivino has reached with their wine, scanned labels, reviews,
ratings, prices, satisfaction of app users, wine regions and wineries within those regions.
It’s 5 PM and Taylor was just on the recieving end of a break up. The last thing she
wants to do is to leave
the house, especially with her makeup messed up and a puffy face...However, a bottle or two of wine plus
some chocolate delivered to her place would be a great help to lift her spirits some.
