Wander Airlines is a project focused on a new airlines concept. WÄNDER AIRLINES is focused on
making traveling a better experience with the advancement of technology in mind. WÄNDER knows
that most of its passengers are using their smart devices such as their phones and watches to access
information. The airlines has provided an app that offers what a traveler needs both on their phone and
on their watch.
Most will argue that airlines today are a little outdated. Most airlines still offer in flight entertainmnt on
the back of the passenger seats. Some are starting to realise that people no longer use those devices as
they are now using their own to watch netlfix, hulu, etc and are getting rid of the seat screens,
replacing those with WiFi access so people can access their applications during flight.
WÄNDER Airlines, with the intent of staying current, has features that feel like it’s 2017. Customers
have access to purchasing flights, search for boardsing passes, and an airport map to search for stores
while waiting to board their flight. The UI is vibrant with white, yellow, and black color scheme,
reminiscent to 60’s Germany.

Here is some research based on reviews collected from the Google Play store. These are quotes
from users who left a review on Airline apps. I researched what people liked and didn’t like about
certainapps which helped me further establish reasoning behind my design decisions for this project.
John is a single business man who travels often for work. He doesn’t have much time to waste
except for when he’s waiting to board or in flight. He wants things to be time effecient which can
be difficult to fine this days in the airline industry.
Jen is a UX / UI designer in San Francisco. She has a big eye for design and heart for traveling.
She loves to travel and likes to make spontaneous trips as she believes life is short and we all
should make the most of it.
